As a busy mama of two under ten, I know what it feels like to want more time in your day for creativity, but not quite knowing how to make that happen.

Slowly but surely, I started scrapbooking at my kitchen table on Saturday mornings. No roadmap. No creative mentor. No idea what I was supposed to make next. But over time, I built a creative practice of my own. And somewhere along the way, I realized that creativity can do so much more than give us something pretty to make.

It can give us a reason to slow down, a way to notice the little things. It can give us a place to put the stories, photographs, and pieces of everyday life that might otherwise slip by.

And sometimes, it can even become something more; a creative community, a rewarding career, or simply a part of your life that feels entirely, wonderfully yours.
